Strategy rarely fails in theory. It fails in translation.
Most businesses don't struggle with ideas. They struggle with what happens after.
Plans are made. Direction is clear. And still — execution becomes inconsistent.
Not because people aren't capable. Because the system isn't built to support how the business actually operates.
Where the work actually begins
Strategy Advisory Solutions Inc. was founded with a single belief: every organization — regardless of size or sector — deserves access to world-class strategic thinking. We partner with leaders who are ready to move beyond planning and create enduring, purposeful growth.
We don't start with solutions.
We start with how the business actually runs. How decisions are made.
Where priorities shift.
Where execution starts to break down.
Because most businesses don't need more ideas.
They need clarity in how those ideas move through the system.
To be a trusted partner to owner-led businesses, wherever they operate.
Built on clarity.
Sustained through real execution.
Never shortcuts.
How we approach the work
These are the principles that tend to guide how we work.
Clarity over complexity
If something can't be understood, it won't be executed. The goal is not more structure, it's the right structure.
Execution is where strategy is tested
Strategy only becomes meaningful when it shows up in decisions and day-to-day execution. That's where the real work happens.
Alignment through shared understanding
Alignment doesn't come from agreement alone. It comes from a shared understanding of what matters and how to act on it.
Built for how the business actually operates
The structure has to reflect how decisions are really made, not how they're expected to happen on paper.
Focus over breadth
Progress usually comes from a few clear priorities, not trying to move everything at once.
Designed to evolve
The goal isn't a perfect plan. It's a way of operating that can adjust as the business grows and changes.
How I work
I work closely with founders and leadership teams to ensure strategy translates into execution — not just direction.
Paola Ruiz
Founder & CEO
I'm directly involved in the work.
Close to the decisions, the priorities, and the points where execution tends to break down.
In many cases, I step in as a fractional COO, working alongside the founder and leadership team to ensure the business runs in a way that supports where it's trying to go.
When needed, I bring in a small, trusted team to support implementation and coordination.
But the thinking, the structure, and the accountability remain with me.
